What Airffic Cards is
The value of a flashcard deck is not the number of cards but that each one comes back just before you forget it. Airffic Cards runs on spaced repetition (a simplified SM-2). Every correct answer stretches the next interval: 1 day, 3, 7, 14, 30, 60. Forget a card and it goes back to 1 day. Open it each day and only today's cards appear.
Write a front and a back. English vocabulary, exam terminology, the names of people at a client. Split cards into decks so they do not mix. A few example cards with terms from Japan's national drone license (the unmanned aircraft pilot certificate) are included so you can try it immediately.
There are no image or audio cards. Text only: the lightest possible flashcard app. Cards stay on your device without signing in; sign in and the same decks open on another device. The app itself is currently in Japanese; an English interface is on the roadmap.

Questions
- What is spaced repetition?
- A method based on the finding that reviewing something just as you are about to forget it makes the memory last longer. Each correct answer lengthens the gap before the next review; a mistake shortens it. This app uses steps of 1, 3, 7, 14, 30 and 60 days.
- Can I import cards in bulk?
- Not yet; one at a time. CSV import is a future candidate.
- Can I use images or audio?
- No. Text only.
- Do I need to sign in?
- No. Without signing in, cards stay on this device. Sign in and they are saved to your account and open on any device.
