押している間だけ、この端末の位置が合言葉の組に送られます。残るのは最新の 1 点だけで、履歴は残しません。この画面を閉じると止まります。

What Airffic Family is

The moments you want to know where family are: picking someone up, when someone is late home, during a disaster. Airffic Family is the smallest possible location sharing. The family agrees on a passphrase, each person enters it on their own device, and everyone can see each other's current location.

Location is sent only while "share my location" is pressed, and only the latest single point is kept. There is no history. If the button is not pressed, nothing is sent. Close the page and it stops. The map is drawn on the device, and a point can be opened in Google Maps.

There is no geofencing (arrival alerts), no movement history, no battery level and no child-device management. It is not a surveillance tool; it is for family members who have agreed to see where each other is right now. No one without the passphrase can see anything. The app itself is currently in Japanese; an English interface is on the roadmap.

How to use it

  1. 1Agree on a passphraseThe same words for the whole family (say, sky-2026). Make it hard to guess.
  2. 2Join on each deviceEnter the passphrase and a display name, then "join". Sign-in with Google is required.
  3. 3ShareLocation is sent only while "share my location" is pressed.
  4. 4LookThe family list and the map show each person's latest position and time.

Questions

Is movement history kept?
No. Only the latest point is kept, and the next one overwrites it.
What happens when I stop sharing?
The point at that moment remains as the last one and stops updating. Press "leave" and both the point and your name are removed.
Can someone see my location without my knowing?
No. Only people who joined with the same passphrase can see each other, and everyone who has joined appears in the list.
Are there arrival alerts?
No. Geofencing and notifications are future candidates.
Do I need to sign in?
Yes. Location is tied to the person's own account so that no one can impersonate anyone else.
