What Airffic Journal is

Journals fail because people feel they have to write a lot. Airffic Journal is a few-lines-a-day journal. Add a mood or skip it. On a day when nothing happened, "nothing happened" is a valid entry, and it counts.

There is a view that only appears for people who keep writing. On this day shows your entries from a year ago, two years ago, and last month on the same date. What you write today comes back to you next month and next year. The Month view shows how many days you wrote each month. Miss a month and the days you did write are still there.

You can write without signing in, in which case entries stay in this browser. Sign in and they are saved where only your account can read them, so the same journal opens on another device. Photo attachments and plain-text export are candidates for later.

How to use it

  1. 1Write todayType a few lines under Today and save. Mood is optional. Writing again on the same day replaces the entry.
  2. 2See this day in past yearsOn this day shows last year, two years ago, and last month. If there is nothing yet, today’s entry is for next year’s you.
  3. 3SearchIn List, filter by a word or a month, such as 2026-09.
  4. 4See the monthsMonth shows a bar for each of the last twelve months with the number of days you wrote.

Questions

Can I write an entry for a past day?
Yes. Choose the date at the top right of Today and the entry is saved under that day.
When does "a year ago" appear?
Whenever there is an entry on the same month and day last year, it shows beside Today and in On this day. One example is included so you can see the shape from day one.
Does it count consecutive days?
No. There is no number that blames you for a gap. It shows only the days written per month.
Can I attach photos?
Text only for now. Photo attachments and plain-text export are candidates for later.
Do I need an account?
No. Without signing in, entries stay in this browser.
