What Airffic Translate is

The hard part of machine translation is not getting a translation; it is not knowing why it came out that way. An email to a client, instructions for a crew, a document from abroad. You want to judge for yourself whether the text is safe to use. Airffic Translate gives you the translation and then three reasons behind it: word choice, word order, and anything that was added to make it read naturally. With those, you can make it your own.

It translates between Japanese, English, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, French, and German. The translation is done by Claude (Anthropic) with the instruction to translate the whole text, never summarize, and output only the translation. It is not a professional translation service. Have contracts and medical documents checked by a qualified translator.

Translations are not saved automatically. Only what you mark Keep goes into your history, and phrases you use every time go into Favorites, where one tap copies them. Text you paste is sent to the AI once for translation and is not stored.

How to use it

Questions

Is the text I paste stored?
It is sent to the AI once for translation and not stored. Only translations you mark Keep are saved to your account, or to this browser if you are not signed in.
Can it handle technical terminology?
It translates general text well, but it is not a specialist service. Have legal, medical, and contract documents checked by a professional translator.
Which languages are supported?
Japanese, English, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, French, and German. Others are candidates for later.
Can it translate speech or images?
No. It translates pasted text only.
Do I need to sign in?
Only for the translation itself, which uses the AI. History and Favorites work without signing in and stay in this browser.
