What Airffic Booking is

Get rid of the "when are you free?" back-and-forth. In Airffic Booking the host creates a booking page and shares its URL; the other person opens it and picks an open slot. That is the whole thing. Site visits, meetings, training sessions, consultations. Thirty minutes or ninety.

The host sets a title and the end of the URL (say, site-visit-0930) and presses "create". Weekday slots from 9:00 to 18:00 appear at the chosen length. The other person signs in, enters their name and taps a slot. Bookings you received and bookings you made sit in one list, where they can also be cancelled.

There are no notification emails, no calendar sync, no payments and no group scheduling. The person booking also has to sign in, so that each booking is tied to a real account. The app itself is currently in Japanese; an English interface is on the roadmap.

How to use it

  1. 1Create a booking page (host)Title, URL ending, slot length, description. "Create" produces the URL.
  2. 2Share the URLIn an email, as a QR on a business card, as a link on your site. The other person opens it.
  3. 3They pick a slotChoose a date, enter a name, tap an open time. Taken slots are struck through.
  4. 4Check the listReceived and made bookings in one list. Cancel from here too.

Questions

Can I change the available hours?
Not yet; fixed to weekdays 9:00 to 18:00. Configurable days and hours are a future candidate.
Am I notified of a new booking?
Not yet. Open the list to check. Email notification is a future candidate.
Does it sync with Google Calendar?
Not yet.
Does the person booking need to sign in?
Yes, so that the booking is tied to their account and only they can cancel it. One click with a Google account.
