What Airffic Photo is

What a site photo needs is not a filter but to be made presentable. Brighten a dark shot, rotate a tilted one, pixelate a face or a number plate that got into the frame, and add a label such as "south face, 3rd floor" before it goes into a report. Airffic Photo does those four things in the browser and saves a JPEG.

All processing happens inside this page (the browser's canvas); the photo is never sent anywhere. Facade inspection photos, construction records, a portrait for a profile. It is the last small step before you hand a photo to someone, done without installing an app.

There are no layers, no free-form crop, no auto-enhance and no batch processing. Fix one photo and save it; that is all. If you need a photo interpreted, Airffic Inspect reads facade deterioration. The app itself is currently in Japanese; an English interface is on the roadmap.

How to use it

  1. 1Choose a photoOn a phone, a photo you took; on a computer, a file. It appears on the right.
  2. 2AdjustSliders for brightness, contrast and saturation; rotate by 90 degrees.
  3. 3Pixelate and labelPress "pixelate" and drag over the area. Type a label, press "place", then tap the photo. "Undo" reverses the last step.
  4. 4Save as JPEG"Save JPEG" downloads the file. The original is untouched.

Questions

Is the photo uploaded to a server?
No. Loading, editing and saving all happen inside this page, in your browser.
Is the original overwritten?
No. Saving produces a separate JPEG file.
Can pixelation be reversed?
Not from the saved JPEG; each block is filled with its average color. Before saving, "Undo" reverses it.
Can it open RAW or HEIC?
Only formats the browser can display (JPEG, PNG, WebP and so on). iPhone HEIC opens in Safari; in other browsers, convert to JPEG first.
Do I need to sign in?
No.
