What Airffic Stock is

What inventory really needs is two things: what, how many, where; and a warning when something runs low. Airffic Stock keeps a count, unit, location and minimum per item, and moves anything below its minimum to the top, highlighted in yellow. Spare propellers, batteries, masking tape, printer paper. The shelves on site and in the office become one table.

Counts move with plus and minus buttons. There are no barcodes, no purchase orders, no cost accounting and no multi-site totals. It is a tool for a small company, a workshop or the box in the back of a van: one table instead of a sheet of paper.

Records stay on your device without signing in; sign in and the same table opens on another device. Things to buy go to Airffic Grocery; supplier receipts go to Airffic Expense. The app itself is currently in Japanese; an English interface is on the roadmap.

How to use it

  1. 1Add an itemName, count, unit, minimum, location. Set the minimum and you will know when it is crossed.
  2. 2Subtract as you usePress minus in the table. Press plus when you restock.
  3. 3Watch the yellowItems below their minimum rise to the top in yellow, and are also grouped on the left. That is your reorder signal.

Questions

Can it read barcodes?
Not yet; search by name. Barcode scanning is a future candidate.
Can it manage orders or suppliers?
No. It stops at flagging items below their minimum. Ordering is up to you.
Can several people see the same table?
Not yet; only your own. Team sharing is a future candidate.
Do I need to sign in?
No. Without signing in, the table stays on this device. Sign in and it is saved to your account and opens on any device.
