What Airffic Time is

Press "in" and press "out". That alone gives you each day's times and the month's total hours. Airffic Time is the smallest thing that replaces a punch card. The time you press is the time recorded, and it cannot be edited afterwards. That is where the record's credibility comes from.

For a self-employed tradesperson, a small shop, an office of a few people, or your own remote-work log. It has none of the large machinery of approval flows, requests or reconciliation against a rota. At month end you export the list as CSV and use it as the basis for payroll or billing. That is all it does, and it does it reliably.

The tool for the other side, building the rota, is separate: Airffic Shift, where you describe the people and the constraints and AI drafts the month's schedule, and the guide on AI shift scheduling that explains the approach. The design is for the rota and the punches to be viewable in one context in the future. The app itself is currently in Japanese; an English interface is on the roadmap.

How to use it

  1. 1Press inWhen you arrive, press "in". The time is recorded.
  2. 2Press outWhen you leave, press "out". The difference is that day's working time.
  3. 3Look at the monthEach day's in, out and hours, plus the month's total. Earlier months are available too.
  4. 4Export CSVAt month end, "Export CSV". Use it directly as the basis for payroll or invoicing.

Questions

Can I edit a punch afterwards?
No. The pressed time stays as it is. If you forgot to press, delete that punch from the raw data and press again; the deletion is recorded too.
Can breaks be deducted?
Not yet. The difference between in and out is shown as is. If you press out and in around a break, that interval is excluded.
Can I see several people's records together?
Not yet; only your own. Each person exports a CSV and you combine them. A manager's overview is a future candidate.
Can it serve as statutory working-time records?
It is one form of record, but follow your local labor law and official guidance on how working time must be tracked (in Japan, the Labor Standards Act and the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare's guidelines). This app is a punch-and-total tool and does not guarantee legal compliance by itself.
Do I need to sign in?
No. Without signing in, punches stay on this device. Sign in and they are saved to your account and open on any device.
