What Airffic Invoice is
The job of an invoice is not to be created but to go out every time in the same form, without mistakes. Airffic Invoice takes the recipient, line items, quantities and unit prices, calculates consumption tax per rate, and lays out a one-page A4 invoice or quote. The PDF is produced with your browser's print function, so there is no software to install and no font pack to download.
It follows the required fields of Japan's qualified invoice system (the invoice system introduced in October 2023): the registration number (T plus 13 digits), amounts and tax split by rate, issue date, recipient and issuer. Items at the reduced 8% rate are marked with an asterisk; the standard rate is 10%. Your issuer details and bank account are remembered on the device after the first time, so later invoices need only the recipient and the lines.
There is no accounting-software integration and no payment tracking. If you sign in, saved documents stay in your account, where you can open, edit and reissue them. It is built for sole traders, small companies and tradespeople who need to send a handful to a dozen invoices a month, reliably. The app itself is currently in Japanese; an English interface is on the roadmap.

Questions
- Does it support Japan's qualified invoice system?
- The required fields, yes: registration number, amounts and tax per rate, issue date, recipient and issuer are all printed. Whether you need to register, or whether you are a taxable business, is a question for the tax office or a tax accountant.
- How is tax rounding handled?
- Amounts are totaled per tax rate, the rate is applied to that total, and the result is rounded down, so there is one rounding per rate per invoice. This is the method the qualified invoice system's rounding rules call for.
- How is the PDF made?
- Through the browser's print dialog, "Save as PDF". There is no separate PDF engine, which is why the output looks the same on every device.
- Can it send data to accounting software?
- No. It stops at producing the document and the PDF. It does not track payments or post journal entries.
- Who can see my saved documents?
- Only your own account. Without signing in, documents are not saved; only your issuer details stay on the device.
