What Airffic Calc is

What a calculator lacks is a memory of what you just worked out. Airffic Calc keeps each expression and its answer in a list below. You can type on the keyboard and press Enter to evaluate, and tap any answer to carry it into the next expression. Keep a calculation with Save, or give it a name and file it under Notes.

Templates cover tax-inclusive prices, discounts, and splitting a bill. The tax template uses Japan’s 10% and 8% consumption tax rates; other rates are candidates for later. Tax is rounded down; a split bill rounds each share up and shows the remainder. Before a quote, at the register, on site working out an area. Everything runs in your browser; nothing you type is sent anywhere.

It is not a scientific calculator: four operations, parentheses, and percent. Records stay in this browser without signing in.

How to use it

Questions

Are my calculations sent anywhere?
No. Everything is computed in your browser.
Can I use functions like sin or log?
No. Four operations, parentheses, and percent only.
How is tax rounded?
Rounded down. The tax template uses Japanese consumption tax rates (10% and 8%). For invoice tax by rate, use Airffic Invoice.
What about the remainder when splitting a bill?
Each share is rounded up, so the collected total can exceed the bill. The difference is shown as the remainder.
