What Airffic Money is

Budgets fail for one of two reasons: entering things is tedious, or looking back tells you nothing. Airffic Money narrows itself to two screens. Entry is an amount and a category. The month view shows what you spent on what, as bars. There is no receipt scanning and no bank sync. In return, one entry takes about ten seconds.

You can use it without signing in; the records then stay on this device (in the browser). Sign in and the records are saved somewhere only your account can read, the same budget opens on another device, and it sits on the same foundation as the other Airffic apps (health log, shopping list, expenses). The design is for these to become one connected context over time.

It does not connect to banks or cards. Holding someone's bank credentials means taking on the duty to protect them indefinitely, and at our current size we cannot promise that. A hand-entered budget, done reliably, is what this is.

How to use it

  1. 1Enter amount and categoryDate, amount, category (food, household, transport, and so on), and a note if you like. Choose "income" to record income.
  2. 2Look at the monthSpending, income, the difference, and a bar per category. Arrows move to the previous or next month.
  3. 3Fix a mistakeDelete the wrong line and enter it again.

Questions

Can it connect to my bank or card?
No. We do not hold bank credentials, as a matter of policy. This is a budget you enter by hand.
Can I share it with family?
Not yet. Records are readable only by the account that entered them. Family sharing is a future candidate.
Can I export my data?
The records are yours. A full export (JSON) is being added soon. If you delete your account, the records are deleted.
Is it free?
Yes, it can be used free of charge. Prices for paid plans are stated only on the legal notice page required under Japanese commercial law.
